The Texas Legislature has been in session for six weeks and dozens of marijuana-related bills have been introduced, including proposals to create a regulated cannabis market. We are at the Capitol sharing imperative information through our educational exhibit. This display cover important topics like job creation, new revenue streams, criminal justice savings and more. As a result of the COVID-19 outbreak, Texas has to re-evaluate how we operate as a state. This includes the way we do business and how we choose to utilize resources. Our united goals are to keep Texans safe and keep our economy moving. There is mounting interest among patients and healthcare professionals about the clinical benefits of medical cannabis for various ailments, most commonly for pain relief. A large body of clinical research and a history of anecdotal evidence support the use of cannabis for pain relief.
