Results: Survey of Regional Advocacy Workshop Attendees
During our recent 10 city workshop tour, we asked the attendees to fill out a survey to provide feedback on the impact of the event for them. They filled out a questionnaire at the beginning and end of the workshop, rating on a scale of 1 to 5, their understanding on a variety of topics as well as offering feedback on what they enjoyed and how we can improve for the future.

Here are the results of the survey:
- Well over three hundred Texans attended our workshops in 10 cities. Here is how the attendance broke down.
- This was the sixth workshop tour we have hosted. We wanted to understand how many new people we were reaching. Our survey shows that 74.5% of attendees were there for the first time.
- Attendees were there for a wide variety of reasons but the most common were
- General Information (75%)
- Advocacy (67.5%)
- Medical Cannabis (66%)
- The workshop received a rating of 4.6 stars out of 5, with 68.5% of attendees rating it at 5 stars.
- 91.5% of attendees would attend future workshops with an additional 8% saying that they might attend a future workshop
- 98% of attendees would recommend our workshop to their friends, family member or colleague with an additional 1.5% saying that they might recommend.
- While networking is not the main mission of these events, we wanted to see what value our attendees would place on the opportunity to connect with others in their area. Attendees rated their networking opportunity at 4 out of 5 stars.
- We asked attendees to rate, on a scale of 1 point to 5 points , their understanding on five topics. This was to help us quantify where and how these workshops were effective. On average, attendees’ understanding improved by almost a point and a half (from rating of 3.1 before the workshop to a rating of 4.5 after the workshop).
- Understanding of current marijuana policy improved from a rating of 3 to 4.4
- Understanding of hemp improved from 2.9 to 4.6
- Understanding of marijuana law enforcement improved from 3.4 to 4.5
- Understanding of medical marijuana improved from 3.2 to 4.4
- Understanding of our marijuana advocacy efforts improved from 3.2 to 4.4

Attendees were encouraged to share what they enjoyed, additional topics to learn about and how we can improve. They offered thoughtful feedback for us to consider for future tours, workshops and events. Here are a few comments from our attendees:
Additionally, we were able to obtain a sponsor to place an ad in the Midland Telegram for our workshop. This ad garnered an additional 11,000 impressions in the area.
